TRANSMISSION OF VIRUS FROM POZ PERSON ON MEDS

QUESTION
If a person is on meds for AIDS and then tests negative, can you still get HIV/AIDS from this person, by whatever means?

ANSWER
HIV medications cannot turn someone who is HIV+ by antibody test to HIV-. They can reduce the viral load in the blood to undetectable, but there is still virus in the lymph nodes, the gastrointestinal tract, testes, brain, liver and about every other organ. A "negative" or undetectable test by no means indicates that a person is not infectious.
