WHITEHEADS ON SCROTUM AND ANUS

QUESTION
I have little whitehead spots on either side of my scrotum and my back passage anus they are not sore but go away and come back have been to the doctors several times have been given a number of creams but canít get rid of them permanently.

ANSWER
Whitehead spots could be a variety of normal and abnormal skin conditions. Some normal conditions include sebaceous or epidermal cysts. Abnormal but a very common cause of raised bumps could be genital warts. Yeast infections, eczema, and psoriasis are other common conditions that can cause spots or bumps and come and go.

Only a doctor can make a diagnosis and some doctors are better at making the correct diagnosis than others. A skin specialist or dermatologist has special training in diagnosing conditions of the skin. STD specialists are also quite experienced in diagnosing skin conditions of the genitals.

To your health,
Dr. K
